Biography

- 1954 Born in Santa Cruz de la Palma 
- 1980 Exhibition of Piroengraving at the Nautical ClubS/C de la Palma
- 1981 Exhibition of fire engraving at el Hierro y Lanzarote
- 1982 Exhibition of fire engraving in S/C/de la Palma
- 1983 I Started to work wood sculpture with artists Wegner y Levasseur.

They are fundamental acquaintances which have set the direction of my life. He is German and she is American; they formerly lived in la Palma and now live in the small town of Alicante. »


1989- I Started to work as a gold and silversmith.
« In my training I am almost totally self-taught, an exception being basic studies in art. I learned much in gold/silversmithing from reading about materials and techniques and, also, contacts along the way with other silversmiths, artists and artisans. In work we express a part of the life of the world--as a result of these contacts together with the influence of different cultures and a use of the diversity of various techniques and styles. »
