Expert and appraiser, consultant and teacher in antique and modern European silverware for insurance companies and estate sales. Specialized in the  Belgian, European , English and American silver.

2- Promote Contemporary Creators during their life time. European, Canarian, American and Southamerican silversmiths, jewellers, sculptors.
Organizing Virtual Exhibitions and actual ones.

Discover new expressions of silversmithing in different countries.

My story begins : (letter to a friend) 
'Impossible'  is not French ! !

After the last fair in August 2001 I was so ‘fed up’ with the silver business and the trade in general that I was about to throw everything out of the window! Do you remember?
I was literaly ‘burned out’. Could not think , could not even see or look at one item in silver.
Refused to participate to any preview ( Could not hear about it!)
Competition was too high in Belgium and nasty! 
( Narrow country, narrow minded) or too narrow for me ?

Since the month of August I had begun to follow a course on energy healing. ( I had myself been a satisfied ‘patient! ) and I knew the wellbeeing it did bring.
In september I obliged myself to take a break, I needed a distance from everything. ( Vacations!)

And I must say it was quite special.

I took a destination 'out of the blue !!' without knowing where it was.
All I knew is that there were palmtrees.  (I had painted palmtrees in my last meditative-painting!)

The day before I left-  the 11th of september - the Twin Towers in Manhattan did fell down.
(To me this was a sign of something important collapsing in our world, and that a world only based on a commercial aspect is declining.)

New values are about to surge.(Better ones !)
Holyday: South of Tenerife, Nice hotel, and unusual to my personality, I did nothing ! Laid in the shade near the swimming pool, reading an interesting book about ‘How to formulate one’s feelings and behind that, learn to know and how to express one’s needs . I am very interested in psychology since years onwards.

After five days I decided to make one  'touristic trip‘.

Destination: The volcanoe Teide, and ‘Puerto de la Cruz’.

The form of the volcano did attire me, the strands here are of black sand (lava) and as my eldest daughter told me :‘This island is as volcanic as you are !’or Vice Versa!

Up there , above the clouds, the sky is pure blue, the air smells sulfur, but is so soft

The ground is light and smooth. I  did find back the impression and the sights I had in the American Canyons.
Later on, I walked in Puerto de la Cruz, and while standing looking at the surroundings, I knew this was ‘the place’ I had dreamed of.

It called inside me at some ‚remembered dream‘.

So when I came back I took the decisison to change entirely my life.
Do something different. Get out of the high masculine and competitive world.
But what? So I looked at my bookshelves.
The most important part ( Silver not included!) is therapy, psychology., Nature, Travels.

Since 6 years , I have been following , lectures, seminaries on different subjects.
So I decided to go on with a few selected seminars and formation. Took spanish lessons two evenings a week.

Came back in Tenerife in October. And rather slowly or rapidly decided to organize seminaries here in Tenerife.

The goal is to improve the world !!!!, recover ancient /new values. (Respect) Lots of things which had touched my soul during my trip in the Canyons. (Amerindian philosophies)


Lots of things to tell.
But I know I need a place to live near the ocean and near the wilderness.

Tenerife is the right place !!!!

And its inhabitants are such nice persons, when you can speak their language.
I did cut from my old life and lots of problems which seemed never to solve. And old bad habits .
Gradually, life did push me to this decision.
I know this is a ‘wise’ decision for me.

I need to live a life just for myself for the moment close to Nature.


Silver and antiques : I resigned as president from 2 assosiations, one The silver Society of Belgium which I created, the other ARGVS an expert and appraiser association. I did invest too much of my time, trying to help others and I need to care for myself.

It will be ready end 2003, and the pages will show the items I presented during ‘The Fair of August.2001’ aswell as contemporary creativity: Silversmiths, jewellers, Sculptures and painting.

The travel.

First I thought selling my car, after a while I knew this was not the right choice, neither for me , nor for my ‘ dog-friend’ called IGOR.

Who, in a certain way , is responsible for all the changes in my life lately. He is my ‘Shaman!’.
So we did leave Belgium (Igor and myself) on a Saturday noon with what we call (a minimum of vital things , and by chance :the computer)
Stayed and rested with real true friends in Paris, left Paris the Sunday at noon. Stopped near St Sebastian and later in Caceres.
Tuesday afternoon we took the boat in Cadix (south of Spain) and landed the Thursday at 3 Pm in Santa Cruz

Change of life.: What I do! And How I am or Who am I ?
1-Life more connected to Nature. ( nice walks everyday)
2-Develop my new activity as a therapist 
  Develop a new philosophy of life.

3-Organize seminars. ( personnal development , called ‘Woman-Hood’, and the ‘Delphin’s Jump’) and others to come.

4-Organize Energetic and Ecological stays for persons in real need of a break, and change .
5- For my pleasure : my Website. ( When I can solve all the technical problems !)
I took lectures and now I am my own Web mistress!!!
And All that will come to me. (Workshops! ‘Woman-Hood’)

In fact everything that is really creative and artistic ! 
Develop the feminine part of my personality


And about to find positive solutions to old problems.

About me: I am closer to my true self, Calmer, I still fight with old anxiety and old fears. My therapy: Hike for a three hours walk with the dog high above the clouds near the volcanoe, Wash my brain , with the splashes of the ocean, Go for  Horserides far from the ‚civilization‘.

And first of all: I do take care for myself.


And the change  of life really begins when I start  to change my  Attitudes towards life.
